The Brat will be OK

Here’s how I found our beloved 25-year-old Subaru Brat this morning when I went out to drive to work. (The white specks on the roof and hood are pieces of glass, like those on the ground.) Someone had the audacity to come down the driveway last night to where the Brat was parked right outside our front door. They broke the driver’s side window to steal two black bags that I had left inside overnight – my laptop was safely indoors, thankfully! Tomorrow, Metro Glass will replace both the driver’s side window and the front windshield (cracked during the hail storm last June), so the Brat won’t be out of circulation very long. It will be back to its usual grand self in no time!

For some inexplicable reason, they did not take the audio cassettes of Louis L’Amour stories, read by Willie Nelson.
